Blood and Gold, a new medieval fantasy game, has been released by Lighting Box, a renowned Light & Wonder-owned slots studio. The new title allows players to embark on an epic adventure where two armies fight for supremacy.
The players can join either the Red or the Blue Army
The game of Blood and Gold requires players to collect various symbols to win. There are three rows and five reels in the game. There are 25 lines in Blood and Gold, which allows for a higher degree of flexibility.
Players can collect letters, trebuchets and war horns if they want to represent the king of the Blue and Queen of the red factions. There are wild symbols that help players score. The Battle rounds are the game’s version of a bonus game and scatter shield symbols cannot be replaced by wild symbols.
The players can choose an army to lead during the Battle rounds. They have to choose carefully because this choice will be important. There will be a battle after each spin of the Battle rounds. The players will either win or lose the battle based on the results of the spin and symbols. Should a player lose, their earnings for the spin will be null and void. After three losses, the Battle rounds end and the player’s army must leave.
There is a chance that lucky players will land on an extra life symbol that will give them one more try. The symbols only appear in the middle reel if the player has less than 4 lives.
The game has innovative features that were praised by executives
Blood and Gold will be the first to launch on the Rank Group platform in Europe. Operators can easily integrate the game into their offerings with the title available on Light & Wonder’s OpenGaming platform.
Michael Maokhamphiou was the operations manager at Lighting Box. Lighting Box continues to reach new customers and engage many more players thanks to this mindset.
In Blood and Gold, Maokhamphiou hopes that the gamers will like the battle system. Fans of Lightning Box will undoubtedly enjoy the decision-making involved in selecting an army, as well as the extra lives and chances for victory.
