There are $22 million in guarantees for the December World Championship series

More than $22 million in prize pool guarantees will be offered by the World Poker Tour through the course of its just announced WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas festival in December. There are 23 separate events in the series, which runs December 1-20, 2022,

The WPT World Championship is the main event of the 20-day festival. There is a $10,400 buy-in and a $15 million guarantee for the no-limit hold’em event. The WPT Prime Championship has a $1,100 buy-in and $2 million guarantee, the inaugural WPT Ladies Championship has a $1,100 buy-in and $200,000 guarantee, and another edition of the Wynn Mystery Bounty. The bounty event has a buy-in of $1,600 and a top bounty of $100,000.

No-limit hold’em is played in 16 of the festival’s 23 events, including the festival’s final event, the $600 Tag Team Bomb Pot, as well as Seniors and Turbo Bounty competitions. Pot-limit Omaha, limit Omaha-8, H.O.R.S.E., and an 8-game mix event are some of the formats that will be offered. The WPT and Wynn Las Vegas have added a robust lineup of satellites into several of the headline events. There are at least 220 seats guaranteed for the WPT World Championship on December 11. There are additional seats in the WPT Prime Championship, the WPT Ladies Championship, and the Mystery Bounty tourneys offered by other satellites.
