A brand-new campaign was launched early this month by Loto-Québec, to promote how its gaming entertainment offerings are more than just casino experiences. There is a one-minute-long spot in the campaign called “We’re All Play”, which showcases the premium amenities of the Crown corporation’s land-based casino properties across the province of Quebec.

All regulated casino and lottery offerings in the province of Quebec are overseen and conducted by the state-run Crown corporation. The only legal online platform that offers online gaming and lottery products is lotoquebec.com, and it operates several brick-and-mortar gaming amenities across the province. All of the proceeds are reinvested into the province.

There is a short spot

Cossette, the Crown agency’s partner, developed and brought to life “We’re All Play”. According to Jessica Fecteau, Art Director for the Crown, its purpose is to promote the corporation’s exceptional casino entertainment offerings. The spot shows how the casino properties can be more than just a place for individuals to gamble.

Ms. Fecteau said that besides a wide variety of games, the Crown’s gaming establishments also offer top-notch dining facilities, riveting shows, theatres, bars, nightclubs, dance floors and DJs. She noted that it was important for the Crown to highlight the whole experience so that it could better reflect on the true essence of the agency.

The spot is a short video that shows three people who escape from their day to go to a casino and have fun. The three characters are dressed to the nines and arrive at the venue in style, including skydiving or driving a luxurious sports car. The video shows people a glimpse of the fine dinners and entertainment offered at the casinos.

Ms. Fecteau commented that the campaign advertises how people can go on a night out at a casino and have a great experience. She said that the Crown had to pick a grandiose way to live up to its hype. The ad began airing on television, online, and on social media. At the Crown’s land-based properties, it is displayed as well.

Extending Scientific Games is a collaboration

Some intriguing news was recently provided to its many lottery fans. The long-term partner of the Crown corporation was Scientific Games. The supplier will be the main provider of instant games for the next five years, as a result of the new partnership. For the last 50 years, the two have been partners.

More than 4,500 instant games have been released by the gaming supplier since they first started working together. At the 40th Annual Gala Gutenberg, the two won a Gutenberg Award for their instant game called Plant Madness. The game is made from 100% recycled paper and uses water-based ink.
