BetMGM is once again working towards expanding its brand into regulated markets, as the sportsbook announces a partnership with the actor Jerry Ferrara. The popular actor will become a sportsbook ambassador for the company. He’s going to host a weekly sports show called “Unleashed.” He’s also going to feature in marketing initiatives.
The betting business, a partnership between MGM Resorts International and Entain, provides its numerous customers with access to both online sportsbooks and casinos. Over the last couple of years, it has expanded its operations in a number of US markets, including New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, New Jersey, and even in the north in Ontario.

Mr. Ferrara is not just a gifted artist, but also a huge and ardent sports fan, according to Matt Prevost, Chief Revenue Officer of BetMGM. According to Mr. Prevost, the sportsbook is more than thrilled to have the actor join their team and is ready to develop fresh and original material with him.
Mr. Ferrara was born in Brooklyn, NYC and was raised in Bensonhurst, he became popular with his role in “Turtle” and is a major supporter of several NY-based professional sports teams. He is a huge fan of the New York Yankees, New York Nicks, and New York Giants, which correspond to his character in the hit series “Entourage.”
In the press release, the actor shared that he could not be more thrilled about regulated sports betting in the Empire State and partnering with such a leading brand as BetM GM. He said that it was an honor for him to become the first sportsbook ambassador for the company and that he would be able to share his sports passion with fans.
The actor is not the only New York celebrity that BetMGM has been able to get on board with. The sportsbook has two former NBA players on their books. Chris Johnson and Marshawn Lynch are the brand ambassadors for the company.

BetMGM joined Ontario’s new iGaming and sports betting market for private operators. The company was one of the first to go live in the market on April 4, 2022, after receiving a license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. Local gamblers can now place bets on its premium sportsbook and iCasino offerings.
An important deal with the National Football League in Canada was announced by the sportsbook this week. Through this agreement, the company gains access to its official NFL logos and becomes an official sports betting partner of the league. BetMGM can use the digital platforms in the jurisdiction to promote their products.
