XB Net has renewed and expanded its deal with Codere to provide its US horse and greyhounds portfolio to the Spanish operator.

According to the deal, Codere will fill the schedules of its retail and digital channels with data, live visuals, and betting services from more than 60 North American racetracks, giving gamblers the chance to wager on more than 75% of US horse races.

Borja Mata, Content & Supplier Manager at Codere, said that since Spain’s time zone is well-suited to transition into high-quality evening meetings stateside, top-class 24/7 programming is now an engaging reality for our customers. We are looking forward to seeing how these innovative products perform at upcoming events, like this autumn’s Breeders’ Cup World Championships.

XB Net’s Simon Fraser said that Codere is a giant brand with expertise and trademark customer care that is best in class. It is a perfect time to partner with their Spanish sportsbook, which has quickly embraced the merits and utility of racing in North America. While domestic sport is long since back in full swing in Spain, those who were drawn to North American racing during the Pandemic have largely been retained, which is another key validation of our product.

Codere is yet to post its Q2 report, which is expected to show further growth for the Spanish operator, despite posting $24.5m total revenue in its Q1 results.
