The patrons of the Grand Villa Casino are back

Gateway Casinos and Entertainment will be reopening the Grand Villa Casino this week. The gaming area at Rogers Place in the Ice District will be open for business on Monday, July 18, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. There will be a lot of premium variety to choose from on the gaming floor.

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment operates 27 casino properties in British Columbia, Ontario, and Alberta, making them one of Canada’s gaming leaders. Its properties provide work to approximately 7,000 employees and offer over 334 table games, 13,555 slot machines, and 91 food and beverage locations along with 561 hotel rooms for its guests to enjoy.

On Monday, July 18, 2022, guests of Grand Villa Casino will be able to enjoy exceptional gaming and dining amenities at the premises. Tony Santo, President and CEO of the operator, shared that the team is eager to restart work at the facility and welcome back its staff and guests. He is looking forward to giving a great experience to patrons.

Rogers Place, where the gaming property is located, will be open seven days a week once it restarts operations. Table games will be available from 2 p.m. every day, while slots will be open from 12 p.m. to 3 a.m. The bar will close at 2 a.m. after opening at 12 p.m.

The company will also open its doors again, this time at its signature Match Eatery & Public House. Premium food and drinks will be available from 4 to 11 p.m. at the fine dining amenity. More information about the casino and its offerings can be found on its official website or on its official social media pages.

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment plans on holding a job fair for its multi-million dollar Wasaga Beach property in Ontario. The company wants to fill 140 positions at the Wasaga Beach RecPlex on July 19, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

There were many available positions, including cooks, bartenders, server, dishwashers, hosts, cage and coin attendants, slot technicians, security and maintenance. Rob Mitchell, the company’s Director of Communications and Public Affairs, did not provide an exact date for the casino’s official launch, but he did say that a job fair means that the casino is one step closer to its official launch.

The gaming conglomerate is also developing a casino in British Columbia. The company stated in February that the progress of the project is going according to plan and that it continues to monitor the situation to ensure a safe environment for workers and the local community.

The Gateway Casinos are excited to re-open the Grand Villa Casino on July 18th.
